Flying Colours Corp. installing its first Gogo L3 AVANCE in Challenger aircraft.

North America-based Flying Colours Corp. is installing Gogo AVANCE L3™ air-to-ground connectivity systems in two Bombardier Challenger aircraft, a CL604 and CL605. The installation of the small form, fully integrated AVANCE L3 inflight connectivity and entertainment solution represents a first for Flying Colours which has already installed several of the AVANCE L5 systems.


Flying Colours Corp. first to outfit Bombardier Challenger 650 jet in medevac format.

Flying Colours Corp. the maintenance, refurbishment and completion specialist returns to EBACE, (booth W107), in a buoyant mood having just completed the industry’s first Bombardier Challenger 650 medevac interior. Number one in a trio, the medevac interior was completed on time and on budget, under contract from Bombardier Specialized Aircraft, and is already in operation with Switzerland-based air ambulance operator, Swiss Air-Rescue Rega. The achievement was marked with a handover ceremony at its Peterborough facility in mid-April.


Flying Colours receives approval from European Aviation Safety Agency for ADS-B OUT installation on Bombardier Challenger 300 aircraft.

With the mandatory equipping of ADS-B OUT for aircraft flying in controlled European air space only two years away, Flying Colours Corp. has secured approval from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to install the tracking technology on Bombardier Challenger 300 airframes operating within its jurisdiction.


Flying Colours Investment to Create 60 Jobs in Peterborough

Flying Colours, the North American MRO, completions and avionics business based in Peterborough, ON today announced a major expansion and investments of $30,000,000 in its facility at Peterborough Airport creating 60 new jobs over the next several years and helping to retain 250 existing jobs.
