Giving back to our community

Flying Colours Corp. has many team members from the surrounding communities where we operate. It is our responsibility to give back and we want to play our part in the community. We are actively involved in sponsoring, supporting and donating to a number of local organisations.

These are some of the organisations that we value and support, and information about what they do.

Peterborough Tigers Baseball

Peterborough Tigers Baseball

The Peterborough baseball association, is a not-for-profit community organization offering house league, rep, and elite baseball programming.

Peterborough Wolverines Football

Peterborough Wolverines Football

Peterborough Football is made up of the Kinsmen Minor Football League and the Peterborough Wolverines Football Club. Coming together in 2021, the organization s operate in partnerships; pooling resources while serving as tandem leagues focused on development and rep level streams, respectively.

Kids ages 8 to 18 are taught important life skills including teamwork, discipline, leadership and resilience.

Peterborough Youth Basketball Association

Peterborough Youth Basketball Association

The PYBA was established in 2005 when two long-upstanding Peterborough basketball clubs – Saints and Storm – agreed to amalgamate into one association for the betterment of youth basketball.

The club runs recreational and rep programs for youth in from Junior Kindergarten through to Grade 12.

Peterborough Girls Hockey Association

Peterborough Girls Hockey Association

The Peterborough Girls Hockey Association (PGHA) promoting female hockey in Peterborough since 1980.
The league runs recreational and rep programs for female youth from U9 to U18.

Kawartha Food Share

Kawartha Food Share

The Kawartha Food Share provides emergency food services to people in the Peterborough and Kawartha Lakes region. Flying Colours runs an annual Christmas Food Drive that is donated to Kawartha Food Share.

The Dragonboat Festival, Peterborough

The Dragonboat Festival, Peterborough

The money raised by the Dragonboat Festival Peterborough helps women receive proper testing and treatment in the fight against breast cancer. Many of the participants in the festival are survivors of breast cancer. The proceeds go to Peterborough Regional Health Centre, PRHC.

The festival has made more than $CAD3.3 million since 2019CHECK. The dynamic, colourful, boat racing take place at Little Lake in Del Crary Park, downtown Peterborough.

PRHC Foundation Mombassadors

PRHC Foundation Mombassadors

Mombassadors is a non-profit organization formed of a group of driven, creative, and influential young professional women who have all delivered their babies at the PRCH. The group fundraises to equip PRHC Newborn Intensive Care Unit with the best technology for newborns.

Maple Leaf, Cavan FC Soccer League

Maple Leaf, Cavan FC Soccer League

We support, and have team members play, in the recreational soccer division. The house leagues are ten-weeks long and run alongside a competitive division too.
